Marketing Development Representative

Augury is looking for a proactive, well-spoken and results-driven Marketing Development Representative (MDR). We’re looking for a natural hunter who is looking to get their career started in tech sales and marketing.

In this role, you’ll be the engine that powers our sales funnel by fielding inbound prospects and marketing qualified leads (MQLs). The MDR is often our customers’ first experience with Augury, so you need to be a people person who makes a great first impression.

This is a phenomenal opportunity to join our team as we rapidly grow our business globally.  There is an opportunity for this role to grow into an Enterprise Sales Development Representative role.

A Day In Your Life Here

  • You will be - above all else - an Augury expert, working in a dynamic start-up environment
  • Manage inbound lead process with a focus on scheduling meetings for Account Executives
  • Promptly respond to inbound inquiries via phone and email and be the first face of the company
  • Follow up with marketing leads through structured outbound cadence (emails, calls, LinkedIn)
  • Confidently uncover prospect needs, initiatives, and challenges in the qualifying process
  • Collaborate and iterate on email sequences, messaging, and talk tracks with SDR/sales team to drive additional marketing qualified leads
  • Consistently achieve and/or exceed marketing qualified lead (MQL) quotas to meet sales and marketing objectives
  • Follow the progress of MQL prospects, working closely with the sales team to ensure they move swiftly through the sales funnel
  • Learn, leverage, and help evolve our lead generation process to build an organized, repeatable, well-defined playbook for attacking the market

What You Bring

  • Education: Undergraduate Degree
  • Experience: You have 1-2 years of experience in a customer facing role. You are familiar with the sales processes. Open to strong entry-level candidates.
  • Communication: You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and are eager to understand the needs of each customer.
  • Owner: You love working autonomously. You thrive on providing impact to the team and overall company. You have a thirst for learning and come with a strong interest in the world of technology.
