Field Marketing Manager

As a Field Marketing Manager, you will have experience in leading and executing industry marketing and account-based marketing campaigns. This individual will be a critical contributor, working cross functionally with multiple teams (Corporate Marketing, Customer Marketing, Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Partners, Agencies, Vendors, etc.) to develop our go-to-market strategy and execute programs to create and accelerate sales pipeline.  

The Field Marketing Manager - ABM & Verticals will work closely with Sales to align the marketing strategy to sales goals and recommend a plan that includes an integrated mix of activities (digital marketing, industry events, prospecting and nurture campaigns, executive programs, etc.) where target audiences experience multiple touches throughout the buyer’s journey. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, have a deep understanding of sales, make data driven decisions, and focus on industry imperatives to further customize our marketing programs.   This position is remote.

A Day In Your Life

  • Research, recommend, build and execute innovative marketing programs designed to land new logos and drive expansion within in existing customer accounts across specific industries and named accounts
  • Collaborate with our SDR teams on campaigns designed to identify and qualify new personas and secure meetings
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, digital marketing, corporate marketing, product marketing, channel marketing and external agencies to develop and execute new campaigns to build pipeline
  • Continually monitor, analyze, and report on marketing campaign effectiveness, pipeline creation and ROI using campaign dashboards and tangible/intangible feedback from the field
  • Act as a primary source of knowledge and communication to the sales and account teams for marketing updates and announcements
  • Own and manage a quarterly budget and maintain excellent operational hygiene
  • Provide onsite event support where applicable in targeted activities

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of marketing experience in high tech
  • 2+ years supporting a vertical sales team in a field marketing or ABM role
  • Proven track record of planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns to high profile accounts that ensure success of an extended ecosystem, designed to scale
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where deadlines for delivery are firm
  • Prescriptive communicator who is accustomed to delivering information to a growing sales organization and customer base
  • Keen understanding of manufacturing models and buyer personas
  • Data driven, experience in plunging into metrics and reporting success to varied audiences
  • Creative problem-solving, resourceful execution, and high attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to prioritize independently and delegate tasks to contractors or agencies when appropriate
  • Budget conscious mentality and respect for company spending process and reporting
  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketo
